Thanksgiving

We ate lunch with Ryan's mom and then dinner with his dad's side of the family. A good time was had by all

Thankful

This is what Addisyn is thankful for. Sounds like I don't feed her. I've taken a little razzing over this.

THanksgiving Feast 2008

Benton Grade School doesn't celebrate Halloween. Instead, they hold the Thanksgiving Feast. It is a fun day all day long. THe children go to presentations, craft time, story time, and of course THE BIG FEAST!!! Parents are encouraged to attend to either help or to spend the day with their child. Don't hear that in Oakland do ya! All of the children dress up as pilgrims and indians! CHristy took a bunch of indians to school that day - Madison was the only beautiful pilgrim!

Addisyn's class listening to an Ag in the Classroom presentation. She told about how they took a mound of dirt and planted the corn. The corn grew up and the pole beans wrapped around the corn. THe squash and pumpkins were grown at the bottom of the stalk to keep out weeds.

BRIGGS 4 MONTHS

I can't believe that Briggs is 4 months old already. I know that time flies, but really...4 months. I've tried so hard to pay attention to every little detail... He's so old already. He thinks he is such a big boy...It seems like those cuddly moments are few and far between.

*loves Braelyn ( not sure why - i guess he must love to be licked - oh poor boy)

*has had his tongue clipped.

THe first photo is of Daddy and Briggs at the hospital. He had his tongue clipped Tues morning. We were only away from him for about 18 min. I'm wondering how many thousand that will actually cost??? He woke up at 5 and was super mad that he couldn't eat. He finally went back to sleep and was happy at the hospital from 7-8. I guess he had figured out that breakfast wasn't in the plans for the am.

Poor Briggs, he has no idea he's about to go under the knife!!!!

Day Trip

I'm ready to get rid of the little style we have left and go for the 10-15 passenger vehicle. 5 kids, 2 adults and a dog makes for quite a load. we hit both of ryan's parents, gg, a baby shower, and then headed back home. The girls enjoyed getting to see everyone.

We were so happy to be able to attend the baby shower of one of Ryan's high school buddies. We are so happy that they are going to welcome another little one into their family. We were able to see some friends that we haven't seen in awhile. Briggs was glad to see Leann and mommy was too! If you have any good J names for a girl, please post!!!

Living Room Camp Out

Do you think RYan looks out numbered? He didn't last long on the bed. THey couldn't leave him alone, so he got irritated and left.

Here's Briggs - safe upstairs with Mommy - enjoying the peace and quiet. It won't be long before he'll be wanting to attend campouts.

Madagascar 2

A few weeks ago, we went with 5 other couples to see Madagascar 2. We all had such a great time. We went to a pizza place first, and then headed over for the show. It was a great movie. I'm usually not one to want to watch a movie twice, but I can't wait for this one to come out on DVD!
