Briggs

It's hard to believe that our little guy is 15 months already. He loves to play with his cars and garage - his tractors - blocks. He still has his paci, his blue blankie, and loves to watch Dora. It's also his favorite book! He has learned to dance ( more like run in place)... we tell him to do his ballerina dance - just to irritate Daddy. Ryan says - why can't you just tell him to *RUN IN PLACE* He is such a good sleeper. He takes a nap from about 10-1:30... then he goes back down about 4:30 for another hour - if the schedule allows. Somtimes he has to catch this last nap in the car. He loves Noel. He can do anything to that dog, and she never flenches. I guess she knows where her treats come from. She is always right beside his high chair at meal time!!! He loves to play chase with Braelyn, and he's also learned to go hide! He's played peek a boo behind my legs once - it was just too cute! He has learned to defend himself a tad bit from Braelyn. She's sporting a nice set of teeth marks - top and bottom on her cheek today! Briggs apparently thought she was too close! This is the 3rd time he's bit her. I thought she would have learned after the first bite - guess not. You can't tell in the pictures, but he has the finest hair on top of his head. It usually is just sticking up like a little rooster. Reminds me of Dennis the Menace!!! Last but not least ---- the kid has a mind of his own. I am trying to teach him that Mommy's way is best, but he seems to be a little hard headed!!!!! He has the "throw the head back" down to perfection when he isn't getting his way! He's so strong, he's hard to hold onto. One of these days when he lands himself on the floor.... he might learn! Most of all..... he's a happy little guy who brings so much joy to our lives! His sisters still think he's the greatest thing, and his face lights up when they come home from school!!!!

Briggs - not very sure of being stuck in this pile of leaves.
He's sure now - HE HATED IT!!!!!!!!!!
Much better after we let him do things his "OWN" way!!!!
He finally decided to sit still long enough for me to snap one decent shot!

Fall Fun

This past weekend, we went with Christy and Heath to Heath's mom's house in Vienna. It was a perfect fall day. His mom had a ton of crafts for the kids to do. They all had so much fun! She had cooked wonderful food, so Ryan was happy as well! After crafting, there was a pumpkin hunt.... then the kiddies went outside for a little fishing!

Homecoming Dance

Peyton, Andrew, and Addisyn
My girlies, Peyton, and Queen Alecia. Alecia is the daughter of the teacher that Avery had in 3rd grade. We've remained close with her. Their family is amazing! Alecia was sweet and invited all of the girls to get in the picture! They were thrilled.

Football

This didn't upload with the rest of the pix! Briggs thought he was such big stuff running up and down the football field! He had several wipe outs, but it didn't bother him a bit !

Misc

Here are the crazy kids that are enduring all of these cross country meets :)
Granny Christy!!! Christy filled in for Braelyn's grandparents at grandparents day at preschool. Christy told Brae that she would do it as long as she didn't call her Granny Christy! Our other friend, Melissa, was bribing Brae to do it. She promised her anything at McD's, but Brae kept shaking her head no! She LOVES Christy!!!!
Briggs rocking out on his zebra! He's finally figured out how to get on and off. I guess I should say that his legs are finally LONG enough!
Braelyn loves the book Pinkalicious. I was a good mom and made pink cupcakes!!!

Cross Country

6th graders can run cross country. tayloran decided to wait until next year to play softball, and to give this a try. she's had a great time. they have about 2 meets a week. their course is usually about 1.2 miles long. there has been a race that was 2 miles. she looked like she was going to drop!!! there are lots of crazy parents out there yelling for their kids to run faster, but so far none like me. I mean there arent any moms running around from place to place with 4 kids and a double stroller yelling their heads off!!! Tayloran is staying in the top half of the runners. We have been so proud of her!

Briggs 14 months

Briggs is such a delight to us!!! He's getting busies, and he is really keeping us on our toes. He loves this racetrack. He has learned to put his cars down the track, make them go in the elevator, etc.... He loves to climb stairs, and always seems to know when the gate has been left open.
