Fishing

Last Friday evening, we had some friends come over to Ryan's mom and step dad's pond. Their little boys love to fish and we thought this would be a fun get together. Avery and Addisyn have never fished before. Ryan has only fished twice since we have been married. There is a reason for this!!! Ryan scares the fish. Avery and Addisyn must have their father's fishing skills because they didn't catch any fish either. The Eastin's caught several. Braelyn didn't get to participate in this adventure, but she watched from the deck.

Father's Day

Well, I'm a few days behind. We celebrated Father's Day with Ryan's dad and family. His sister was down from Rockford, so the girls were thrilled to play with their cousins. I did manage to get Ryan, his Dad, and our girls. I tried to get a big group picture with everyone, but it just didn't work out. I decided to go back and look at pictures with Ryan and each of our girls on the day they were born. Wow! he looks like such a baby with Tayloran. Okay, I'm not too smart and these pictures didn't go in the order that I wanted them to. The first picture is of Ryan and Braelyn, Ryan and Addisyn, Ryan and Tayloran, and last but not least Ryan and Avery. The first two babies he looks a little stressed. On both occassions, he had been up ALL night!! Happy Fathers Day

The Pool

Yes, we do spend a lot of time swimming. We are lucky to have a town pool so close to us. The girls enjoy playing with friends, cousins, and schoolmates. I enjoy going to visit with the Mommies. It's a win-win situation.

The girls enjoyed a summer picnic outside today in the sweltering heat. They had extra company, Lexi, who has taken a bigger liking to them since her short absence at the vet last week. I guess absence does make the heart grow fonder.

The girls had a great summer day unlike their father who was on the computer all day working on homework. He's feeling very sorry for himself that he's not getting to hang out at the golf course all day.

We finished our day with a trip to Kansas for Tayloran and Avery's ballgame. I couldn't get any pictures for trying to keep Braelyn out of the street and off the bleachers!

For all of you Miller's out there - look at Braelyn's squinty Miller eyes!!! She is our first baby to have them! Although Avery seems to have them now, too.

Pool Party at Aunt Pammie's House

My cousin Pam, who is like my sister, invited us to her pool for an afternoon of fun. She also invited her sister, Ang, and her family. Ang has 6 kids, I have 4, and Pam has 1, but is expecting twin girls in 7-8 weeks. So, we had quite a crew. Did I mention that there is only 1 boy in this lot of females? The girls had so much fun swimming with all of their cousins. I sure hope that A. Pammie invites us again.

Dance Recital

The girls just completed their year of dance with a recital at a local theater. They had a great time dressing up in their costumes. Addisyn was in a beginning dance class, and Tayloran and Avery were in ballet and tap. Thanks to Mine, Grandma, and Grandpa for paying the price to come and see them perform. They were so happy to have you there.
