Baby Boy Miller

the face - and what tayloran calls a chicken wing leg
His wonderful position. Face down and his toes are about to touch his forehead. At least the spine looks good! He weighs an estimated 8 oz.

It is confirmed! Baby Miller #5 is a boy! All of you moms out there are telling me how easy boys are. This boy isn't being very cooperative at all! He is in a taco position. He is rear down and his feet look like they are about to touch his forehead. Not good. We couldn't even get a look at his face. It would pop thru for a second, but not enough time for a picture. Didn't get a picture of the male parts either. The cord is down there, but the lady said she saw the other parts that went along - it is not a question. I sure hope he flips around because I definitely do not want to have a c-section on #5. Everything else looked good - or looked good to me. This hospital gives 4D ultrasounds at 30 weeks. They will make a CD and will print/frame a picture of your baby. I am already scheduled for May 16th. He was measureing right on at 18 weeks 4 days. EDD: July 25th! This is Ryan's bday. Now we have to pick out a name!

Today - Feb. 21st

Today has had it's up and down moments. We wake up at 6:00 am to the phone call saying - no school. We are having another ice storm. I thought this was supposed to be Southern Illinois. As we are getting ready, Braelyn starts having to run to the bathroom every few min. I think you get the drift. As we are getting ready to leave, we discover that the cat is just not sick - it's dying. AHHHH! Ryan and I went to the dr's appointment this morning leaving the kids in Tayloran's care. The dr first thought the baby was a girl. This baby was very uncooperative. It had it's legs closed tightly. After looking for several minutes, something popped up from nowhere. It's a boy. The dr is 95% sure it's a boy. He looked for a good 15 min to be sure. He called another dr in to look. The baby was just not very active. that's good - hopefully not another busy one. Ryan is over the moon with excitement. I'm just depressed because I have already gained 12 pounds - yes, 12 pounds. I was and am still in shock. It must be a boy! The girls were very kind to their mother. I only gained the 25 lbs with each one. We got to see 5 fingers on the hands, etc. Everything with the baby looked great. I have my thorough ultrasound Mon. at the hospital. We'll let you know if the boy is still a boy!!!! And if you are wondering about the status of our kitty. Poor Brownie - may he rest in peace.

Housework

Tayloran and Avery have been at each other lately. Catfights - they call them. They have been grounded from everything under the sun. However, it doesn't seem to be helping much. I've decided that housework - chores - working together will be the new method - along with being gorunded. Here is a picture of them doing dishes together. they looked so sweet working side by side. I was really dreading it. I just like to do it myself and get it done. They really did a great job and I didn't even have to help that much! I think they just earned a nightly job.

15 weeks 3 days prego - 2/3

After visiting the dr a couple of weeks ago, it was determined that my due date is Ryan's birthday - July 25th. He was pretty excited about that. I had not taken any picture of my bulging belly, so I had Tayloran take a couple of shots today. however, I think the black shirt is a very good concealer of the bump. We will be able to find out next month what we are having. The dr has his thoughts, but he told Ryan that he would check again next month. He told Ryan that he was a "special case". I think he felt sorry for him living in a house with all women. This was the first time we had met the dr. I LOVED him. It was a pleasant surprise since I picked him out over the internet by his picture. He looks like Jim Eastin - just a smaller version - with an aussie accent! Super kid friendly and WONDERFUL bedside manner. The nurse had told me that he was very laid back. Ryan and I asked if there was any chance of me going to his conference in San Antonio, TX at the end of June - he said sure! We will see as the time comes! I might not be able to stand TX 8 months preg. at that time of year!

Magic Kingdom

We started off on our journey a week ago Friday - January 25th. The day didn't start well as Braelyn woke up extremely sick. So,after numerous calls, I finally found a dr who could get her in before we left!! Avery and Addisyn were already on antibiotics, so it wasn't a complete surprise. We headed out after school and made it to Orlando on Sat. afternoon. Much to our dismay, it wasn't the warmest. It was a whopping mid 60's. Not what I was expecting. It didn't get any warmer for the next two days. We froze and were wearing long pants and jackets. The kids were begging to go home as they were still running fevers. Braelyn and Addisyn lived on Motrin every 6 hours. So, it seemed like all we were doing was doping the kids up with antibiotics, sudafed, motrin, etc. Our backpack looked like a medicine cabinet. It did warm up toward the end of the week, and we were able to take our jackets off on a couple of days. Braelyn enjoyed the rides and seeing the characters. Addisyn was so happy that she had grown a few inches this year and could ride the Tower of terror and Mission Space!!! However, she still wasnt big enough to ride Aerosmith's Rock N roller coaster. Avs has no interest in going on these rides. She does love outdoor rollercoasters, but not the indoor ones! Who knows!!! I was bummed as I was a good mommy and took warning to the rides that said not for expectant mothers. Braelyn and i spent a lot of time walking around and sitting - waiting! The kids were exhausted every night so bedtime was a breeze. I've never seen Addisyn and braelyn want to go to bed. It was WONDERFUL. Plus, they were sleeping 12 hour nights. I felt bad that they didn't enjoy the trip as much as they could have, but what can you do. We all had a great time! By the way, Thanks Mom for letting me sleep 12 hour nights too!!!!!! Plus, thanks for the great time! I know that you are exhausted, too!!
