Our Crew

These are the wonderful people that Christy has introduced us to. We have been so fortunate that they have all just welcomed us in. We had a great time yesterday. I hope we can do it again soon!

After the game

Braelyn just couldn't keep her eyes open and slept most of the 2nd half of game.
Tayloran & Briggs. Briggs finally decided to wake up.
This is one of my favorite pictures. Great men setting a good example for the young men.

Ryan's Dad and Gma Bobbie - poor Gpa Max got left out of every pic.
Amy & Christy - Amy is Addisyn's kindy teacher! She's wonderful - and you all know that Christy is my lifesaver!!!

Football - Saturday before game

The football game Saturday was so much fun. WF and B have been big rivals forever. This football used to be played at noon on Thanksgiving day. It has been played on a Sat. afternoon since they stopped playing on the holiday. B usually has one tailgate game, and this was it. A few of our friends decided that we would get some spots. The ladies were planning it all out - we would have less hassle and prepare the meat at home. The men wouldn't stand for it. We were told it wasn't a true tailgate unless you brought the grill. Tim brought his huge grill, and Jarrod and Tim fixed burgers, brats, hot dogs, and ribs. They were excellent chefs. I don't think there was anything left by the end of the day. We had chicken cros., baked beans, nacho dip, a cheeseball, chips, bars that were out of this world, choco chip cookies, rice k. treats, no bake cookies..... We all felt sick later on. We are hoping Ryan will talk the big wigs into having this at every home game. They sold out on spots - a good money maker. The field was packed all the way around, and the stands were full. Not to mention - it was the best football game I have ever watched. It was a nail biter all the way to the end! However, the Rangers pulled it out 20-17. YEAH! It's 3 wins in a row for the Rangers.

Gpa Jim and Great Gma Bobbie came down for the big game. I'm not sure where Gpa Max was during this photo!

Briggs almost slept the entire time we were at the stadium

Two Months

Briggs was two months on last Thursday. He went to the dr for his check up and weighed 11 lbs and 11 oz. He was 23 1/2 inches long. What a bruiser. The funny thing is that this is exactly what tayloran weighed at this age. The other girlies were a whole pound less than this. He checked out just fine. A healthy, bouncing, baby, boy! He is such a blessing to our family. I love watching the girls with him. They are so loving and protecting. He never cries, and is only awake about 2 hours a day. He is so smiley, and has just found his voice. He tries so hard to talk. You can see him moving his mouth - looks like he is going to have a lot to say.

Posted by PicasaI'm pretty sure he isn't loving lying beside Daddy's armpit! Maybe it was stinky!

Preschool for Braelyn

I really had a hard time deciding if I wanted to put Braelyn in some sort of preschool program this year. She still has another year before kindergarten. After a week of the girls being in school, I thought it would be good for her to attend preschool somewhere. There is a day care down the road who has a prek program. She has loved it. I love hearing about the things that she has done.

Family Gathering

On Sunday, we went to the family farm for a gathering with family. We were so excited to spend the day playing games outside and just hanging out. The weather had other plans. It was POURING - and I mean POURING! So, we got to spend the afternoon inside the shed. This was fine with the adults, but the girls were a little stir crazy. They started off so bad that they lost tv on the way home. After lunch we played games - trivia, bingo, and the kiddies had a scavenger hunt! Thanks everyone for all the planning! We will hope for dryer weather next time

Gma & Gpa Tate gotthem down to sleep, so we had it easy!!! They slept all night, and were such good girls. The are super easy to keep, and the follow their schedule to a "t". The girls had a great time playing with the babies. I'm sure the were over stimulated!!!

Fri 9/12

Another win for the football team. The game was 41-12 at the half, and then 41-20 at the end. It was so exciting. It's the first time in a LONG time for Benton to have back to back wins. YEAH! It definitely makes for a very happy Daddy.

Briggs - My Baby

The many faces of Briggs! I put him in his carseat for our day of running around. He just started smiling. I thought for sure that he would be done by the time I got the camera, but he still had a few left! Isn't he just the cutest little guy???!!! Well, I guess I shouldn't say little. He's getting to be quite the chunk!

This is Briggs' "o" face. He has made this face since the day he was born. He usually has it in a perfect circle. I just caught the end of it! It looks like he is trying to whistle!
